Salary: R40,000 – R60,000
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of five premier restaurants, managing kitchen staff and coordinating with head chefs.
- Lead menu planning and recipe development, ensuring consistent quality and presentation across all locations.
- Implement culinary standards, policies, and procedures to maintain excellence and uniformity.
- Manage food costs, portion control, and budgets effectively for multiple sites.
- Conduct inventory management and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP standards across all kitchens.
- Develop training programs to improve team skills and foster a positive kitchen culture.
- Analyze market trends and guest preferences to innovate menu offerings.
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of culinary experience, with at least 5 years in a head chef or executive chef role in high-end or multi-site restaurants.
- Proven experience managing large culinary teams and multiple kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to different kitchen environments.
