About the Role
As a UI/UX Designer I, you will lead the component and page designs for our marketing websites, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for our customers. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to understand user needs and design solutions that meet business goals. Your expertise in user research, information architecture, and interaction design will be key to driving innovation and improving customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Advocating for customers with the agile team and helping inspire the team to want to know more.
- Creating processes that effectively discover customer needs and product design options.
- Involving customers in product innovation that delivers value to users and growth.
- Collaborating closely with engineering and product management to create category-leading products that deliver value for our customers and for ICIS.
- Working with a UX Researcher to understand user needs, making proactive use of insights to drive design.
- Summarizing data from analytics packages, customer insights, or other sources to understand the context of research work.
- Using design software (e.g., Adobe, Figma, Axure, Sketch, InVision) to an expert level.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design projects.
- Experience in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent visual/UI design skills.
