The role:
We are seeking a Field Sales Training Associate to support the development and training of the RedCloud field sales teams by delivering engaging, practical, and relevant training and support. Instrumental in ensuring that new Field Activation Officers and Sales Representatives are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles while also providing ongoing training to help them grow and improve.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training sessions for field sales agents, including in-person and virtual sessions.
- Sales Process Education: Teach the fundamentals of RedCloud’s field sales process, ensuring all Field Activation Officers (FAOs) are consistent in their approach.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Provide one-on-one coaching to FAOs to enhance their performance, build confidence, and drive sales effectiveness.
- Training Material Development: Contribute to the creation of training resources, including presentations, manuals, guides, and video content tailored to the needs of field sales teams.
- Field Shadowing: Accompany FAOs on sales calls to observe, provide feedback, and coach them on techniques and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Track the progress of FAOs through regular assessments and feedback sessions, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales enablement and sales management teams to identify training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new sales techniques, industry trends, and product knowledge to ensure training content remains relevant and effective.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate or NQF 4 equivalent.
- FMCG or Ecommerce proven sales experience.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Good Knowledge of Red101 app is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools (e.g., SalesForce, HubSpot).
- Basic data analysis skills and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire sales teams.
- Ability to travel and spend time in the field with sales teams.
