Luxury Spa at a Hotel in the Stellenbosch / Brackenfell area is looking for a Spa Therapist.
Responsibilities:
- Treatments include but are not limited to massages, facials, and pedicures and manicures.
- Guest service and relations.
- Maintaining hygiene standards.
- Equipment maintenance.
- Managing stock levels.
- Marketing of the lodge treatments on offer.
- Basic reception work in the spa.
Requirements:
- A valid license to practice as a massage therapist, where required by local regulations.
- Knowledge of skincare and beauty products.
- Formal training from an accredited institution.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage appointments and schedules efficiently.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and support junior staff.
- Effective communication skills with guests and fellow staff members.
- Well-organized and prefers to work in a clean environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry trends and new treatments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices in a spa environment.
- Initiative to problem-solve and collaborate with fellow staff.
- Adherence to high service standards to ensure the best quality of service.
