Responsibilities and Requirements
The Reservations Manager plays a key role in:
- Overseeing and managing the reservations department.
- Ensuring efficient handling of reservation inquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
- Implementing strategies to maximize room bookings and revenue.
- Supervising and training reservations staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Developing and implementing reservation policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate room allocations and special requests.
- Monitoring reservation trends and implementing pricing strategies.
- Preparing reports on reservation statistics and performance.
- Proven experience in reservations management in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in reservation software and MS Office.
