- Achieve the development of capabilities for the business in the following areas:
- Lifting Machine Operations and pendant Cranes operations
- Safety Training for the business operations (Fire Fighting and First Aid)
- Operations Machines and technology capability for mining, construction, and Energy and Transportation business
- Compile machine-specific operator training material and ensure curricula that are aligned with the latest OEM requirements, government requirements, and industry best practice (Mining, Energy and Transportation, and Construction).
- Advise internal and external customers on learning solutions that will improve competence and productivity
- Reporting of team performance against agreed priorities and KPIs.
- Effective compilation and management of budget (OpEX and CAPEX)
- Effective scheduling and management of machine operator learning specialists to ensure maximum productivity
- Attend to internal and external customer complaints and queries.
- Effective management of projects and key centre of excellence initiatives undertaken to deliver results in the agreed time
- Responsible for development of processes in the Operator School of Excellence, continuous process improvement, and implementation
- Ensure effective self-management and performance ownership
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Minimum Required Qualification
- National Diploma/Degree in Engineering/ Business/HR/Education/ Psychology or related fields
- Registered/Certified Assessor and Moderator
- Formal Leadership Development Programme will be an advantage.
Minimum Required Experience
- Five years’ supervisory or learning instructor experience
- Familiarity with eLearning platforms and practices
- Working experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g. SAP)
