Our client in JHB Steeldale is looking for a HR Manager to start ASAP.
About the Role:
The HR Manager will lead all HR functions, ensuring smooth recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and payroll processes. This role will drive HR strategies aligned with company goals, supporting a positive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Align HR practices with business objectives; lead succession planning and talent development.
- Training & Development: Manage skills development, WSP, ATR, and B-BBEE compliance.
- Performance & Compensation: Oversee performance reviews, wage adjustments, and employee benefits.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Handle disciplinary actions, ensure MEIBC compliance, and maintain EE and SD records.
- Payroll: Manage payroll processes with SAGE VIP Professional Cloud, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- 5+ years in HR management (preferably in manufacturing/engineering).
- Proficient in SAGE VIP, strong knowledge of South African labor laws, and MEIBC.
