Position Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Major Incident Manager to join our team in Cape Town. In this senior role, you will be responsible for managing IT disruptions while also strategically assessing to prevent future issues. You will have the platform to assess risk, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and meaningfully shape and direct incident management frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Examples of day-to-day responsibilities in this role include:
- Responding to and resolving IT incidents
- Managing existing problems and known errors
- Problem Management; conducting analysis to minimise repeat incidents
- Chairing Major Incident Brief and Post Incident Review calls
- Providing guidance and training for junior team members
- Conducting risk assessments for potential major incidents
Qualifications & Experience:
This role would suit someone with:
- A background in Major Incident Management (essential )
- Experience in a managed services environment (essential )
- Problem Management experience is welcomed, but the right candidate will also have professional experience in Major Incident Management

The budgeted salary for this role is between 40,000 and 55,000 ZAR per month, depending on experience. An additional allowance is provided for any on-call hours.
Hybrid working:
