The CFO will be responsible for developing financial strategies, overseeing financial planning and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role requires a visionary leader who can effectively manage the finance team while driving the company's financial performance in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- In-depth understanding and application of accounting systems for general ledger generation.
- Responsible for accounting system management and financial reporting.
- Timely preparation and delivery of financial statements and quarterly fund reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all fund agreements and tax-related matters.
- Ensure company compliance and meet statutory obligations.
- Assist with fund structuring, fundraising, and administration functions.
- Manage and supervise finance staff, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Build and maintain effective communication with investors and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A minimum of CA(SA) qualification required.
- At least 5 years of experience in the financial services sector post-articles completion.
- Proactive self-starter with a strong drive and excellent work ethic.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in financial analysis and performance metrics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
