Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg
Salary: R35,000 – R45,000 (negotiable)
We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to support our team in a dynamic hospitality environment . If you are passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and have strong HR experience within the hospitality industry, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes tailored to hospitality roles.
- Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and hospitality industry regulations.
- Administer benefits, respond to employee inquiries, and support compensation-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs focused on customer service and compliance.
- Oversee performance evaluations and provide coaching for employee development.
- Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality.
- Implement employee retention and engagement strategies to reduce turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of HR experience , ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices specific to hospitality and relevant labour laws.
- Proficiency in HR software, ATS, and payroll systems .
