To create, provide quotes for, and arrange trips to southern Africa for travellers through international agents for High-End clients.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate client requirements including special interests, needs, and budget
Provide timely quotes for all requested services
Make reservations for all requested services
Correspond with clients in writing and confirm reservations
Input reservations into Tourplan
Confirm services with suppliers
Maintain ongoing communication with agents regarding reservation status, payment terms, deadlines, and reservation conditions
Organize Meet and Greets as needed
Stay in touch with tour guides during tours
Handle client complaints and emergencies
Keep in touch with agents
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric / Grade 12
Preferably a qualification in Travel & Tourism
4 years of experience in FIT-Tailor Making Travel consulting within the travel operating industry
Knowledge of Tourplan with execution experience is preferred
Competencies:
Understanding of customer needs and products
Ability to negotiate with suppliers for availability and rates
Strong knowledge of the Tourism industry
Excellent familiarity with South African geography
