RAILWAY INDUSTRY
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent N3 certification
- Recognise qualification in Procurement Management and/or Supply Chain Management
- A technical qualification, e.g. Diploma or Degree in Engineering will be an advantage
- Certification (CIPS- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply chain management)
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 5 years reliable experience in the logistics and/or rail maintenance industry
- At least 5 years experience in technical/buying relating to locomotives and/or yellow equipment
- At least 5 years experience in managing supplier relationship
- Knowledge of Sourcing, quality activity, proficiency in using procurement software and tools (ERP)
