Candidate requirements:
- Min of 5years experience in a Hotel as a Sous Chef
- Able to assist an Executive Chef in coordinating an supervising a team
- Good knowledge on budgets and profit margins
- Must be knowledgeable on health and safety requirements and audits
- Excellent stock-take abilities
- Be able to mentor and train a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a great working environment
- Be firm in managing and disciplining staff
- Be very well-presented and have impeccable personal hygiene
- Be well-spoken and able to communicate with guests
- The ability to take full charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Must have own vehicle and driver's license
Salary: R18kpm
