Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sales visit to customers at job sites, business offices and institutional account locations to identify and create rental opportunities.
- Sales visit on key account administrative and management personnel in offices to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer service issues in the field and negotiate rental contracts.
- Handle customer sales objections and the ability to close on a rental deal.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the market conditions (eg. current customers, competitors, opportunities) for the assigned territory, develop and execute a strategy to achieve revenue goals.
- Work with Sales and budget forecasts.
- Conduct productive cold calling and prospecting activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share.
Skills and Experience:
- Competent in understanding and communicating product and technical information.
- Sound technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/ technical developments.
- Significant technical application expertise to specify the best solution for the customer.
- Clear understanding of optimised territory management.
- Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills.
- Ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn to develop accordingly
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written English & Afrikaans required
- Willing to travel and be on standby as and when required in the performance of their duties
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical or in relevant rental experience
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in technical solutions selling
- Confident and a good team player
- Passionate about Customer satisfaction
- Computer literate
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Professional in all dealings
- In possession of a valid and clear driver's license
