- Install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain malfunctioning mechanical systems, equipment, and components of machine parts within a defined timeline.
- Attend to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain the spares in the department stores.
- Maintain 5S in their respective areas.
- Perform safety inspections of machinery health during job changeover.
- Construct and assemble mechanical systems.
- Analyze mechanical system blueprints.
- Repair failed parts of the machines during shifts.
- Refurbish filling, screw capping, and corking systems/equipment.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Repair machine parts and inform the manager/shift in charge of all breakdowns should they not be solved in the required timeframe.
- Check machine health during job changeovers.
- Arrange spares in department stores in proper order so they are available quickly during breakdowns.
- Maintain 5S in their respective areas.
- Carry out work and inspections in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements and relevant codes and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum relevant experience of 3-4 years.
Skills:
- In-depth technical knowledge.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical maintenance and total preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of heating systems.
- Experience with rotating equipment.
- Oil management experience.
