Main job function:
Repair, service and maintenance of Analytical Laboratory equipment.
Qualifications:
Suitable qualification equivalent to National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
Experience/Criteria:
- Experience must include instrumentation background on pressure, flows, temperature and laboratory equipment.
- Must be able to read and understand electronic circuit diagrams.
- Self-motivation is very important; need to function independently.
- Computer skills are an absolute necessity, mainly Microsoft Office package. This is a critical requirement.
- Driver’s license with sound driving experience.
- Be prepared to travel within SA, also into Africa, with overnight duties.
- Adherence to targets and completion of service reports after a job is completed.
- Past laboratory experience will be an advantage.
Salary: R23 000 to R25 000
