Diverse Group of Companies - Financial Accountant
An experienced Financial Accountant is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Core responsibilities:
- Ensure that accounts are audit ready every month.
- Review accounting data capture, creditors recons & payments.
- Individual balance sheet recons & account packs (approximately 30 packs the team prepares).
- Consolidated management accounts preparation.
- Facilitate annual audits & AFS.
- Supplementary financial reporting for shareholders.
- Investment analysis & tracking.
- Monthly statutory return submissions.
- Attend to SARS reviews on VAT and PAYE submissions.
- Facilitate information required for SARS audits on income tax.
- Income tax computations to send to tax practitioners (Company, Trusts, Individual taxation).
Desired Experience & Qualifications
MUST HAVE completed articles.
Mature and stable.
Analytical with good commercial acumen.
Technically minded/process driven.
Organised with good time management.
Requirements
5-10 years post articles experience.
Advanced Excel – formulas.
Some experience with tax.
