Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Respected and well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join their team in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs).
The company provides services to a variety of countries including Tanzania, Rwanda, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, and throughout South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components for building construction projects including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Work with other design engineers and collaborate with clients to ensure that designs meet client requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BEng / BSc(Eng) / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 - 10 years experience in designing mechanical systems and components for building construction projects including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and modelling software.
- ECSA: Professionally Registered or nearing professional registration.
