A great opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Accountant to join a forward-thinking organization. You will be responsible for managing all financial procedures, including preparation of accounts, financial planning, budgeting, and cost control. Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and balance monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Verify and authorize payments
- Prepare and manage the monthly management accounting pack
- Review and manage monthly creditor reconciliations
- Post and review journals prepared by bookkeepers, debtors, and creditors clerks
- Oversee monthly cash flow requirements and submissions of loan applications
- Submit CAPEX applications for values over R100k with financial justifications
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an Accountant
- Retail experience is non-negotiable
- Leadership experience is non-negotiable
Qualification:
- BCom Degree or equivalent in accounting
- Honours preferred
