Duties & Responsibilities
Job & Company Description:
A leader within the retail industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant that has worked in a JSE environment to join their team of professionals. This exciting company is a proudly South Africa and have grown into an industry leader within the retail industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Responsible for external group reporting process
- Responsible for completion of the full suite of financial publications, with timeous submission to the JSE and shareholders
- Responsible for all external financial publications
- Statutory annual financial statements of all entities within the Group
- Statutory annual financial statements with regulatory requirements
- Group Financial Technical champion
- Calculation and proposal of dividend declarations
- Control and maintain all consol journals
- General ledger account
- Intergroup balances and transactions
- Profit forecasts for all provisional tax payments
- Keep up to date with IFRS standards
Education:
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 2 to 4 years experience within a JSE listed environment
