Job Summary: CoFi Midrand is seeking Senior Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. - Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards. - Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain processes to ensure adequate stock levels. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak times. - Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork. - Handle staff issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions as needed. - Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently. - Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively. - Promote a welcoming atmosphere and ensure customer satisfaction. - Manage the restaurant's budget, control costs, and maximize profitability. - Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and labour costs. - Prepare and analyse financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers. - Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, events, and social media campaigns. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay competitive. - Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality and consistency. - Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance. - Handle payroll, staff scheduling, and other administrative tasks. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications and skills - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficient in financial management and budgeting. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
