The IIE Varsity College Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (part-time) in the Faculty of Humanities for the following module in the first semester of 2025:
- Design Thinking and Problem-Solving (DTPS5111)
Competencies Required: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Assertiveness and dynamism
- Understanding of customer service in education
- Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively
Minimum Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor degree in Digital Design/Media/Graphic Design/Multimedia
- Alternatively: A Bachelor degree in one of the Digital Graphic/Media/Multimedia related fields with digital graphics or a similarly related field to the third-year level.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Lecturing experience in digital graphics/digital design/multimedia
- Previous lecturing experience within a tertiary environment is advantageous.
- Work experience as a graphics designer/digital animator/multimedia in a related graphical design environment.
Working Conditions:
- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.
- Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
