OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:
To ensure that the company has an effective sales & marketing strategy which includes Capsicum Culinary Studio and IIE School of Hospitality and Service Management.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Develop the Sales & Schools Marketing Strategy for Capsicum Culinary Studio and IIE School of Hospitality and Service Management
- Look for areas where current product offerings can be improved and effect these.
- Ensure that the sales products are current and relevant to keep up-to-date with sales and industry trends.
- Propose new streams of revenue for the growth and development of the business.
- In conjunction with the Brand Marketing Manager, propose changes/improvements to the marketing plan to ensure the financial targets are met.
- Ensure that the Campus meets all their requirements of the sales and schools marketing plan and strategy.
- The implementation of an aggressive schools marketing plan at all the campuses.
- Coordination of and attendance to any other sales events (Expos, Festivals, Demo Days, etc.) to generate leads for the campus.
- Report on Branch schools Marketing and Sales activities to the MD.
- Travel to branches and attend schools marketing functions.
- Manage the sales of the company to exceed financial targets
- Plan the budget to account for capacity.
- Create and improve tracking systems per season.
- Weekly or bi-weekly stats communication.
- Report concerns and take action on issues not working. Take necessary action to ensure that targets are met.
- Manage follow-ups made by sales staff per week.
- Manage enquiry vs conversion per week.
- Motivate sales team to perform at their best.
- Assist Campus Principal to manage sales team to achieve their target.
- Manage the digital sales enquiries.
- Plan and agree financial budgets for Capsicum and PHS with the MD.
- Supply of product information and training to all sales people
- Supply all sales staff with the necessary sales tools e.g., fact sheets, registration forms, presentations, etc.
- Communicate to sales people with fees and discount offers throughout the sales season.
- Arrange annual sales training to keep sales people up to date.
- Travel to campus for sales checks and training.
- Reporting and analysis of sales and enquiries on a weekly and monthly basis
- Supply campuses with available capacity and budgets to achieve targets.
- Report on a weekly basis on the enquiry and sales performance.
- Send out and report on sales via the agreed spreadsheet layout.
- Report monthly to MD on the sales performance and highlight any concern areas and the necessary action plans.
- Develop and implement appropriate policies, procedures and systems in the department to ensure best practice processes of the department and to reduce the risk of business loss.
- Ensure that the following operational systems and corresponding policies and procedures are developed and adhered to by all staff to ensure the effective functioning of the department:
- Sales process
- Enquiry capturing process
- Schools marketing process
- External Research and Survey Process
- Sales induction manual
- Ensure policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and amended to ensure these systems remain relevant and appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales and Marketing Degree
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 – 5 years experience within a target-driven sales environment.
- At least 2 - 5 years experience in Sales Management in a sales-driven environment of a medium-sized company.
- At least 2 years experience in a senior Sales & Marketing Management role.
