Key overview and responsibilities
The Bulk Sales Engineer will be responsible for the growth in bulk sales by bringing online profitable new business covering the full range of bulk products and applications in the Reef Region, in accordance with preset targets and or KPI’s. Maintains and services company’s current bulk regional customer base.
Key areas of responsibility for this role include but are not limited to:
- Growing company sales through prospecting for new clients.
- Account maintenance, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Growing Air Products market presence through various marketing initiatives.
- Achieving agreed-upon annual sales targets.
- Responsible for administration and any related ad-hoc duties.
- Actively acquiring industry knowledge for personal and professional development.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A Matric with Maths and Science;
- BEng/BSc Engineering qualification;
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years of technical selling experience;
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of sales experience in gas/chemical or related industry;
- Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office suite;
- Proven track record in negotiating at high levels and building strong customer relationships;
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and report writing skills;
- Valid unendorsed Code 8 (B) and own reliable transport.
