Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To build and lead the structured debt solution capability within Business and Commercial Banking. To design, develop and implement scalable and profitable structured debt solutions; including Cashflow Lending, Leverage Finance (including Acquisition and Mezzanine Finance), Commercial Property Finance, Structured Trade Finance (including Debtor Finance), Capital Structuring and Advisory services across the Commercial and Business segments. To grow the business into a market leader through driving origination and delivering innovative and bespoke lending as well as advisory transactions to meet clients' needs.
Qualifications
Qualification:
- Post graduate Degree in Business Commerce
Experience:
- More than 10 years’ experience in developing, designing and delivering structured cashflow and asset-based lending solutions
- Significant experience in the structuring of complex transactions, deal making, risk management, developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth
- Leading client engagements and acting as the trusted lending advisor and partner by providing expert opinion, insights, advice and best-in-class solutions to meet clients' needs
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner with client coverage and segments in understanding clients' needs and responding accordingly
- Experience in leading high-performing teams of specialist dealmakers
- Track record in building and growing sustainable market-leading businesses of scale in assets, revenue, and profitability

- Establish and grow relationships with clients in collaboration with client coverage, to entrench Standard Bank as the banking partner
