Construction Manager (PrCM)
Our client who is a large EPC within the renewable energy sector is currently looking for a Construction Manager (PrCM) to add to their team for a very exciting project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Registered as a Professional Construction Manager through SACPCMP.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years of successful construction management experience, overseeing diverse projects of varying scales.
- Strong understanding of substations and overhead transmission lines.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of construction, from pre-construction planning to project completion and handover.
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
