Requirements: Exceptional culinary skills required Minimum of 3 years experience as a Chef Tertiary qualification relevant to the industry Previous catering experience in the upmarket Hospitality sector advantageous Be able to train and develop Kitchen staff Strong presentation skills Ability to build and maintain a motivated team in a dynamic environment Previous experience in Education sector would be advantageous but not essential Own transport and a valid drivers license Duties will include but not limited to: To ensure meals, functions and menu's are up to standard and in line with the budget Source quality local ingredients Oversee quality and portion control Food cost Management Have and excellent palate and cooking skills To ensure the company image is projected through excellent client relationships, quality of service, product, and productivity Understand and implement company standards, policies, and procedures in line with legislation Ensure Quality Control is in accordance with the Company standards
