Job Specification: Accountant (Accounting / Financial Administration)
Out well established client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in financial administration, handling various accounting tasks, and assisting with strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Xero Accounting : Capturing, reconciling, and managing transactions, including creditors and debtors.
- Payroll Administration : Allocating time and payroll costs to projects and shifts accurately.
- Inventory Management : Overseeing inventory control and reporting.
- Costing & Reporting : Managing project, SLA, and ad hoc costing, producing relevant reports.
- Invoicing & Claims : Collaborating with Project Managers for timely invoicing and claims processing.
- Export Documentation : Ensuring proper control and organization of export documents.
- Intercompany Transactions : Managing and recording intercompany transactions effectively.
- Cash Flow Forecasting : Preparing cash flow projections for financial planning.
- Systems Review & Improvement : Reviewing current financial systems and proposing new structures as needed.
- Reporting & Compliance: Working closely with external accountants, preparing monthly and annual financial reports for statutory submissions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in accounting and financial administration.
- Proficiency in Xero Accounting and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of export documentation and intercompany transactions is advantageous.
