Key Responsibilities: Support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, such as conveyors, crushers, mills, and pumps. Assist with creating and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and design documents. Perform calculations and simulations to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. Collaborate with project teams to deliver on timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements. Aid in installation, testing, and commissioning tasks on-site as needed. Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and ensure all work aligns with industry standards. Conduct occasional site visits to oversee performance and provide technical assistance. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or experience in mining or mineral processing environments is a plus). Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, especially in materials handling and equipment maintenance. Proficiency with 3D modeling and engineering software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Flexibility to travel to project sites when needed.
