Are you an Environmental Practitioner with experience working on large scale projects with a focus on Boiler Plants and looking for a new challenge? Our client within the Engineering space is seeking the expertise of a Environmental Practitioner to join their team in the JHB East area. This will be a permanent requirement.
The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Improving environmental practices
- Manage risks and ensuring compliance
- Developing, implementing and continuous improvement of environmental management systems to ISO standards
- Involved in auditing, investigating and reporting on environmental compliance and performance
Qualification
- Environmental Management degree
- SACNASP Professional Registration
- ISO 14001 Standard Implementation and Lead Auditor
- SHE training courses i.e. SAMTRAC / RISKMAQ (advantageous)
Experience
- 3 years’ experience in an Industrial Environment within a Operational Environmental role
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Environmental Legislation and requirements including ISO 14001:2015 standard
- Experience working in industrial work locations
