We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations and lead the maintenance team in our factory.
This is a critical role that requires a high level of mechanical and electrical skills, as the successful candidate will be responsible for the full maintenance and technical aspects of the factory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Apply and adhere to stringent quality control measures as outlined by the Employer at all times.
- Team Management: Manage and oversee the maintenance team, including 2-3 Millwrights, ensuring proper electrical and mechanical fault reporting and maintenance is performed to the Employer''s standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee and ensure the cleaning of all tools and equipment to the satisfaction of the Employer.
- Electrical Maintenance: Manage, oversee, and carry out preventative maintenance or repair of all electrical issues as required.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Manage, oversee, and carry out preventative maintenance or repair of all mechanical issues as required.
- Machinery Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of all existing and future machinery within the Company''s possession/premises.
- Preventative Maintenance Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan for all machinery, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules.
- Stock Management: Manage and control critical spare part stock levels.
- Tool and Spare Parts Issuance: Oversee the issuing of tools and spare parts to factory staff as required.
- Machinery Knowledge: Understand the full mechanics of existing and future machinery within the Companys possession/premises.
- Process Improvement: Develop new systems and processes to enhance the production efficiency of machinery and equipment, aligning with the Production Efficiency targets set by the Employer.
- Collaboration: Work with other staff and departments to ensure proper documentation and record-keeping is maintained as required by the Employer.
- Team Leadership: Manage, monitor, and lead all staff members within your technical and maintenance team, ensuring effective communication and performance.
- Waste Reduction: Actively work to reduce scrap and waste wherever possible.
- Policy Adherence: Strictly adhere to the Companys policies, including health and safety, food safety, maintenance, workplace protocols, quality control, dress codes, and timekeeping.
