Looking for an experienced 5* Hotel Chef who has excellent production line and volume experience, who has moved into senior operations in the retail supermarkets to start up a new deli for a supermarket, in line with Woolworths, meeting the following specifications:
- Must have a combination of Hotel and Retail experience, with both cheffing and senior operations management experience
- A professional Exec Chef who can manage multiple outlets, (bakery, hot and cold, desserts, canape's etc)
- Strong staff management skills, systems, procedures and admin
- Excel at production schedules and on top of the management team
- Experience in producing a wide variety of cuisines from Chinese, African, Mediterranean etc
- Must be able to think out of the box and get customers to return because of the good food products
- Will also be responsible for catering for large orders and outside functions.
- Systems and procedures, costings and a low food cost must be maintained.
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers, procurement, recruitment, admin and food cost
- Three previous contactable referees must be provided
