Design Structural Engineering Technologist
Required for a group of Consulting Engineers in Pietermaritzburg.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4 years’ experience within consulting Engineering environment.
- Technical understanding of Civil / Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Prokon.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out Engineering Drawing Design (concrete and Steel) in AutoCAD and Prokon.
- Prepare reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD Structural Detailing Software according to SANS codes.
- Compile Bill of Quantities.
- Undertake site inspections and manage site queries.
- Manage the filing of drawings for accuracy and correctness.
- Ensure drawings are issued on time.
- Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines.
SALARY: Negotiable – experience related.
