GROUP REPORTING ACCOUNTANT CA(SA) - R650k pa - MAITLAND Our client, an established Group company providing tailored solutions for their clients, is looking for you to join their team as Group Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the general ledger
- Group revenue calculation and journals
- Posting of monthly journals (Ad hoc and standard monthly journals)
- Year-end audit responsibilities i.e. liaising with auditors and assisting with the preparation of Annual Financial Statements
- Experience in drafting Group and Company AFS
- Advising on appropriate accounting treatment of complex transactions
- Preparation of management accounts and group consolidation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Review of Bank Reconciliations
- Maintain/Review the fixed assets register
- Maintaining and updating loan amortisation schedules
- Detailed monthly tax calculations (Income Tax and Deferred Tax)
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations/monthly review of balance sheet
- Reviewing monthly VAT returns
- Supporting Head of Finance and Finance Exec with ad hoc projects
Requirements:
- Newly Qualified CA(SA)
- 1-2 years post-articles experience
