A well established organization is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join the Continuous
Improvement department. This position is based in Pietermaritzburg.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Continuous Improvement in a lean manufacturing area.
- Facilitate the deployment of Visual management methodologies in the areas.
- Lead Lean six sigma Projects.
- Reduce wastage through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Facilitate the use of the following Services where required:
- Time Studies
- Multi-moment Analysis
- Waste Walks
- Value stream Mapping
- Process Mapping
- Lead and facilitate the effective use of Statistical Process Control and other statistical methods in the area to improve Process Control.
- Lead and Facilitate Process Control System in the areas to improve quality.
Requirements:
- A National Diploma/BTech or Degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing would be an advantage.
- Preferable 4 Years working experience.
- Competent in MS office programs.
- Good conflict management skills.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Service driven, innovative, reliable, assertive and strong customer focus.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Sound understanding of engineering principles and processes.
