Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties will encompass:
- Execute on the approved service standards applicable to the company department that foster a customer-centric environment.
- Support the implementation of company systems and structures that ensure delivery in line with the legislative framework and organizational objectives.
- Support company leadership and conduct administrative department activities for staff members as required.
- Receive office visitors and direct them to the appropriate parties.
- Handle basic office tasks such as filing, delivering mail, answering emails and phone calls, and data entry within the company.
- Make travel arrangements and prepare documents, presentation materials, and facilities for meetings.
- Conduct the ordering, storing, and distributing of office supplies.
- Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedural barriers to enhance excellent customer service.
- Attend meetings and present findings and business cases to relevant stakeholders when required.
- Ensure the mitigation of the department’s risk profile for the application of fraud controls and risk prevention principles and implementing sound governance and compliance processes and tools to identify and manage risks.
- Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures within the scope of control.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Matric.
- Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Skills
- 2 Years’ experience within Fire Services, Engineering or technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
