Our client in the motor vehicle industry is looking for a Product Specialist to join their dynamic team. If you meet the below requirements, do not hesitate to send through your application for consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support Sales: Focus on advancing sales for advanced product offerings such as error proofing, software, and automation.
Project Assistance: Assist the Project Manager in executing key projects.
Sales Development: Lead sales efforts for error proofing, software automation, and workstation products.
Collaboration: Work with Business Managers and the Service Division to achieve sales targets and ensure smooth project delivery.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and demos at customer sites.
Agility: Maintain flexibility to support the team and business needs.
Team Participation: Engage in meetings and strategy sessions.
Supplier and Customer Relations: Collaborate with suppliers for efficient processes and focus on driving customer satisfaction.
CRM Usage: Manage interactions and data using the CRM platform.
Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development.
Travel: Weekly travel within South Africa; occasional international trips.

Requirements

Certificate in Engineering and/or Diploma in Engineering.
Engineering Degree is advantageous.
Experience in manufacturing/automation environment and working with projects.
Technical sales ability.
Knowledge of LAN/Wireless network topology, database structures, and production line networks.
Some experience in AutoCAD/designing is an advantage.
Software skills (MS Office software, SAP, CRM).
Dynamic, result-oriented, and self-motivating.
Organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
Team player and open-minded.
Fluency in English.
Valid Driver's license.
