Purpose of the job
To proactively drive processes/plans that consistently satisfy the needs of both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the marketing strategy for the Marketing team
- Compile and manage the promotional events Calendar
- Brief external and internal creative and media
- Ensure the timeous and accurate delivery of TTL campaigns
- Liaison with internal and external partners
- Project management
- Post promotional reviews
- Budget management
- People management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma, preferably in marketing or related field
- Computer Literacy (MS Office and Google Suite)
- 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing related environment (Telecommunications or Financial services would be an advantage)
- Advertising experience would be an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Budget and people management experience would be an advantage
- Clear understanding of the South African retail landscape
- Willingness to travel
- Own transport required
