Job Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead and manage the strategic direction and operations of our well-established professional body dedicated to promoting and enhancing financial management and related professions within the public sector.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the public sector, non-profit, or professional body environment, preferably in the finance or audit fields.
- Proven track record of successful strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight.
- Strong knowledge of public sector regulations, compliance standards, and the financial management landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, and members.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a membership-based organisation and promoting member growth and engagement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve organisational objectives.
