The Financial Manager will be responsible for managing the full finance function, with a strong focus on financial consolidations across various divisions. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, while providing leadership to the finance team. Your role will be critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Consolidations: Lead the financial consolidation process across multiple business units, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements. Full Finance Function: Manage all aspects of the finance function, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Provide detailed variance analysis and financial commentary. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Monitor performance against budget and provide insights to senior management. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient management of working capital. Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings and statutory audits. Work closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits. Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, fostering professional development, and ensuring effective execution of tasks. Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, healthcare departments, and external partners to ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals. Requirements: CA(SA) qualification is essential. 3-5 years of post-articles experience in a financial role, preferably with exposure to consolidations and the full finance function. At least 2 years of management experience , leading and mentoring a finance team. Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with financial reporting and consolidations. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Detail-oriented , analytical, and able to work in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior management and stakeholders. Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
