We are currently looking for a Senior Manager: Business Applications & User Enablement
Role Overview: To lead multiple service teams in developing tactical strategies and optimising the practices and capabilities necessary for providing office technology, end-user computing, and internal business applications. This ensures consistency, reliability, integration, and scalability across global offices, thereby enhancing internal efficiencies and delivering an optimal end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute tactical strategies to ensure the delivery and execution of Business Application & User Enablement services, supporting the organisation's broader internal technology strategy.
- Set standards and SLA for the provision and management of global office and desktop technology that enhance user productivity and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement a framework, policies and metrics for the management of the global enterprise application portfolio, assessing the health and value of existing applications and making recommendations for rationalisation, modernisation, or retirement.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise the performance of internal business applications and office technology to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Oversee the integration of various internal applications and office technologies to ensure seamless interoperability and data flow across the organisation.
- Ensure all internal applications and technologies comply with industry standards and regulations, implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Oversee the provision of technical support for internal applications and office technology, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Lead and manage multiple projects related to internal applications and office technology, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses of existing and proposed internal applications and technology solutions, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring investments deliver optimal return on investment (ROI).
- Lead the implementation of training programmes to enhance end-user digital literacy as well as the utilisation of internal applications and technology to improve the end user experience and the organisation's return on investment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in end user technology support, business application management or similar experience, of which 1-2 years are in leading multiple teams.
Specific & Business Knowledge Required:
- Skilled in incidents, problems and change management processes.
- Extensive knowledge of Service Level Agreement (SLA) terms and conditions.
- Able to translate business unit strategies into portfolio plans.
- Motivate, empower, manage and grow people to achieve business objectives and support employee development.
- Directs approaches and activities to achieve business growth and profitability.
- Anticipate, recognise and meet the needs of internal and external customers, taking responsibility for maintaining the highest service standards and productive customer relationships.
