Introduction
An opportunity has become available for a Technical Specialist III within the IT Infrastructure team, reporting into the Technical Team lead.
Purpose
Provide 3rd level support across the Clicks Group, ensuring a seamless service. Patch servers and endpoints, install software, and maintain IT systems as well as troubleshoot networks, servers and hardware.
Objectives
- Management System Microsoft Server OS & Application installation and support
- OS, Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Hardware and software support
- Troubleshooting technical issues and managing problems
- Monitoring systems performance and taking corrective actions
- Liaising with 3rd party service providers
- Maintaining system and related business documentation
- Patch Management
- O365 management including license management
- Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019, support and troubleshooting
- Maintain and support Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), Patch management and package deployments
- VMware Experience and Hyper-V platforms. Server deployments, template management SCVMM
- Active Directory management and hardening
Job-Related Experience:
- Minimum 8 years IT Support experience
- Active Directory experience
- MS Office 365 experience
- VMware, Hyper-V and other Hypervisors experience
- MS Windows 2012 Server 2016 Server, Server 2019 experience
- MS Exchange Server 2016, including Hybrid experience
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, management, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 experience
- Storage and Backup Technology experience
- PAAS, IAAS, PIM to name a few
- Linux, Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift experience required
- A and N Certification
- Microsoft Certification MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP
