Job Overview:
SMG Community Media (Pty) Ltd has been running and growing for over six years, and
we are now expanding. We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to
help us continue this growth, especially by enhancing our online
presence through our website and social media. The ideal candidate
should have at least 4 years of experience and a strong portfolio. Any
qualification (certificate, diploma, or degree) is welcome as long as
the experience and portfolio are in place. You will design logos,
flyers, posters, booklets, newsletters, training manuals, publications,
and cover all the essential aspects of graphic design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop high-quality designs for logos, flyers, posters,
booklets, newsletters, training manuals, and publications.
- Assist with website design and social media content to grow our online
presence.
- Ensure consistency across digital and print formats.
- Collaborate on various projects and ensure brand consistency.
- Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Any qualification: certificate, diploma, or degree in Graphic Design
(or related field).
- 4+ years of professional graphic design experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,
etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet briefs.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
