Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Elsies River, Cape Town
Annual Remuneration: R540 000.00 cost to company negotiable dependant on experience and qualifications

Qualifications and Experience
- BCom Accounting Degree
- Tax, and financial regulatory and reporting requirements (IFRS)
- Minimum 10 years experience in accounting
- Minimum 5 years in a senior accountant role
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- PAYE, UIF, and VAT Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payment of PAYE (Pay As You Earn), UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund), and VAT (Value Added Tax).
- Wages and Salaries Management: Manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries.
- Financial Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain dashboards to measure sales, profits, and cash flow. Prepare regular financial reports for management.
- Stock Take Management: Oversee the stock take process to ensure accurate inventory records and proper stock management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing the company’s budget and financial forecasts.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely payments and collections.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws. Ensure overall compliance with VAT returns and statutory PAYE deductions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Import Management: Handle financial aspects of importing various products, including cost analysis and payment coordination.
- Multi-Entity Financial Management: Manage the financials for multiple entities under one roof, ensuring accurate consolidation and reporting.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business operations.
- Audit Coordination: Assist in coordinating with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management, PAYE, UIF, and VAT payments.
- Proficient in managing wages and salaries.
- Ability to create and manage financial dashboards.
- Experience in stock take management.
- Excellent budgeting and forecasting skills.
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- Knowledge of financial compliance and audit processes.
- Experience with financial aspects of importing products.
- Ability to manage financials for multiple entities.
- High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
