Join our team as a Short-Term Pricing Actuarial Analyst and play a crucial role in shaping competitive and sustainable insurance pricing Key Responsibilities: Pricing & Product Development: Support the development and pricing of short-term insurance products by analyzing claims data, market trends, and customer behavior. Data Analysis & Modeling: Build, maintain, and enhance pricing models to predict risk and optimize premiums across various customer segments. Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on pricing effectiveness, including loss ratios, and other KPIs to assess profitability and suggest rate adjustments. Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, sales, and product development teams to ensure accurate pricing aligned with business objectives. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure pricing models and processes comply with regulatory requirements and are accurately documented. Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Actuarial Exams: 8 exams plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in actuarial modeling software, Excel, SQL, and experience with programming languages such as Python or R. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of short-term insurance products, risk factors, and market trends.
