Key Responsibilities: Verify the financial investment asset reporting data received from source providers for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness. Ensure all queries are either resolved satisfactorily or corrected by the relevant business areas. Organize, enrich, and analyze large volumes of data. Stay technically proficient in IFRS and FSCA reporting requirements. Deliver meaningful analysis and detect potential errors through reasonableness checks. Ensure reports are accurate and delivered on time. Accurately interpret new financial instruments for correct accounting treatment under IFRS and ensure appropriate classification for reporting to statutory bodies. Update JDE and other relevant accounting/reporting systems with accurate investment data. Upload enriched data to reporting platforms for FSCA purposes, such as QRTs. Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledgers and other reporting requirements. Act as the primary contact for client queries, focusing on issue resolution. Prepare IFRS7 working papers in the agreed format for all legal entities on the company's platforms. Assist the Group Reporting Team with compiling valuation techniques for annual financial statements. Provide S&P national scale credit ratings in the required format for all legal owners on GIS platforms. Oversee tax-related administrative functions such as CGT, S24J, and DWT. Handle IFRS10-related responsibilities, including completing fund consolidations within scope, preparing IFRS7 working papers, and supplementary packs for fund subsidiaries. Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Relevant BCom Degree with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. At least 7 years of experience in financial services, ideally within Asset Management or Life Insurance. Strong expertise in financial instruments. Solid understanding of asset management administration systems. Extensive knowledge of IFRS7, IFRS10, and general accounting practices related to investment assets and financial instruments.
