Successful incumbent must hold a BSc Engineering/B.Sc. Construction management, a BTech will be considered with at least 7 years of working experience in Oil, Gas or Mining industry background. Must be familiar with MS Office and MS Projects as well as fluent in English and report writing. Reliable vehicle essential (non-negotiable)
Must be able to do the following for a project execution.
- Manage execution team (execution and performance management)
- Hold two-weekly look ahead planning meeting
- Hold daily progress meeting
- Update the project progress
- Highlight risks and mitigation
- Hold weekly progress feedback meeting
- Hold two weekly cost feedback meeting
Responsibilities, Must be able to do the following during project planning
- Define scope
- Define manpower requirements
- Define material requirements
- Define Service providers needed
- Define the equipment needed
- Define approvals needed (construction work approval. Etc)
- Issue RFQ
- Cost of the Project
- Create a Schedule of activities
- Prepare tender document
- Appoint service providers (37.2 and 7.1)
- Appoint labour ( contracts)
- Execution Method statement compilation
- Manage project planning team (execution and performance management)
