KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: - You will have passed a recognised trade test as Fitter, have a minimum of N3 and have 5 plus years experience in maintenance within a chemical processing or manufacturing plant.
- In addition, you will have proven experience in the maintenance and repair of boilers, compressors, valves, pumps and relevant components, as well as having a knowledge of pipe fitting and steel component fabrication.
- You will have proven fault finding, repair, breakdown and maintenance experience, as well as experience in scheduling planned maintenance.
- You will be able to be on standby, attend to call outs and provide support to the plant during peak season, which may require overtime.
- You will have a clear criminal record, a valid drivers license and a list of contactable references from past employers.
