Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that Kronos Time and Attendance system is optimized for weekly & monthly payroll.
Checking that hours worked by employees are properly authorized by relevant Dept.
Processing of weekly & monthly payroll input accurately and on time.
Capturing of leave, training & disciplinaries on H.R System.
Generate various reports as required e.g., overtime, leave, sick leave, training.
Ensure that all HR administration for new engagements & exiting employees is completed timeously and well maintained for record purposes.
Assist weekly & monthly staff with medical aid queries, loan applications, etc.
Ensure that all H.R administration for retirement fund home loans / beneficiary forms / funeral claims is completed accurately and on time.
Assist with Ad hoc H.R duties as required from time to time.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
Grade 12 Qualification.
Incumbent must be computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook).
Post-matric qualification i.e., H.R National Diploma.
Knowledge of applicable software i.e.: Kronos, Mpower; Saflec.
Knowledge of Labour Law Legislation.
Required Experience & Skills:
2 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to work under pressure.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
