Key Performance Areas and Key Performance Indicators
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Perform analytical procedures (final product samples / in-process samples / raw materials):
- Validate method
- Prep of standard solutions and testing reagents
- Analysis
- Recordkeeping of data
- Reporting
- Retention of samples
- Turnaround time
- Accuracy of analytical results
- Compliance to GMP
- Compliance to QMS
- Compliance to testing method specification
- Quality reporting
- Timely reporting of deviations and Out Of Specifications
- External audits - no major findings or incidents
- Prepare testing specifications:
- Accuracy - Correctness of information
- Prepare product specifications:
- Accuracy - Correctness of information
- Verifications and calibration of laboratory instruments (HPLC / GC):
- Timeous (according to schedule)
- Housekeeping (label standards, safety, waste management and disposal, work areas, glassware, consumables):
- Sample management - sample control of all samples submitted:
Management
- Operational Planning – follow schedules, prioritizing, targets:
- Personal work and project plans met standards
- Monitoring and Reporting - monitoring, control, corrective action:
- Consistently reviewed own progress, quality, and compliance, took corrective actions and gave quality feedback timeously
- Operational Efficiency – processes, workflow integration (silo busting), systems, standards, compliance, methodologies:
- Established and effectively used processes, systems, professional standards, methodologies, practices
- Resourcing and Capacity Management – people, infrastructure, systems, technology, equipment, knowledge, information; facilities, etc.:
- Secured and used resources efficiently and optimized cost
- Decision Making – escalations, decisions, problem solving:
- Identified and resolved work obstacles and issues effectively and quickly / Analysis and recommendations based on thorough research and decisions led to better results
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification / Education / Certification
- Analytical Chemistry Diploma or Applicable B Tech or related qualification
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as an analyst in a Pharmaceutical laboratory or Food & Beverage industry experience
